Hillary's boat harbour is 25 minutes from Perth CBD and is the second most visited place in Perth. You can get here by car, boat, helecopter, bicycle, bus and by foot, the choice is yours, or at least the choice is yours depending on how you roll.

On a weekend, I would suggest getting here early for a good parking spot, as you will probably be spending the whole day here anyway!
What is there to do here?
1. Relax!
Find the perfect spot, pitch up the sun shades, lay down the towel and relax. The sectioned off part of the beach allows swimmers to feel safe that they can venture into the water without marine life and boats getting in their way.

2. Jetski Rides
If relaxing on the beach is not your idea of fun and you're looking for water sports, then look no further than Nautical Adventures. They offer up to an hour of Jet-ski fun, with a small party, they can tailor to the experience level of the rider. They put the A in Adrenaline!
3. Wings Not Required
Wanted to travel in a helicopter, but never had the chance, or wanted to feel like a millionaire and have a whirlwind tour of the area? Then Perth Beaches Helicopter tours are for you. Starting at $99 why not book a tour for next Saturday and experience life in the Perth skies today.
4. Underwater Adventures
AQWA offers different experiences each visit for different ages. From Slip and slime for toddlers, to shark sleepovers and Mermaid schools. Their exhibits recreate some of the most beautiful natural surroundings of each of the underwater animals. All coral has been cultivated by the AQWA team to add authenticity to the experience, making AQWA one of only a few aquariums in the world to follow this practice. Admission starts at $30 and is a wonderful experience for the whole family; or for an extra $5 you can also include a tour of the Duyfken Ship.
5. Eating Out!
You cannot spend the whole day without eating out. Hillary's has a plethora of eateries to choose from; from casual restaurants such as 3 sheets and Purple Goat Cafe to California Pizza Kitchen and Dome. It also has Fro-Yo, Ben and Jerrys, Subway, Boost Juice and San Churro Chocolateria.
6. Bars and Nightlife
If you find yourself still in Hillarys after dark, then why not visit the Bar 120 nightclub or The Breakwater; or simply enjoy a nice stroll around the harbourside.
7. Stay The Night!
Hillary's is also a great spot to base yourself for a few days to explore the northern corridor. You can even take the ferry to Rottnest Island for the day, and take your very own picture with a quokka, just like Margot Robbie, Roger Federer and Chris Hemsworth and costs from $68 for the day.
What Do I Do Here?
Hillary's is a great place to go for a coffee and catch up with friends. I would usually go to Dome, with their nice plush seats and free Wifi, and then walk around the marina for an hour to walk off what I have just indulged in! For families, it's a safe environment where kids can be kids and adults can relax.
