After spending the day at Hillary's I thought I should explore what the other beaches were like in the neighbourhood. I was told Perth life is all about the beaches, and Joondalup has some of the best coastline for any adrenaline appetite. The coastline intersects each beach and you can walk from Sorrento Beach all the way to Burns Beach along the path adjacent to the beaches.
Sorrento Beach
The first beach we started our walk from was Sorrento Beach. A nice beach where families seem to come and play. With water to die for and clean sandy beaches, you could sit and relax in this safe and tidy beach. There is also a grassed area where you can also barbecue.

We walked past Hillary's Marina Beach as we had been there the day before, although we'll be back again i'm sure.
Pinnaroo Point
Between Whitfords Nodes and Whitfords Beach there is Pinnaroo Point. A beach for those adrenaline junkies, Pinnaroo Point is the best for kite surfing. Although a short walk back to Whitfords nodes is an animal beach where people can walk their dogs and horses.

Mullaloo Beach
A more family orientated beach suitable for those families who would like a day out with a playground as well as beautiful clear waters and soft sandy beaches. There are picnic areas, barbecues and public toilets.

Ocean Reef and Harbour
When I got here, I was already getting tired, and the beaches although wonderfully scenic, were now beginning to feel the same, with the water so beautifully clear, white sandy beaches and people having fun. I decided it was time for me to have fun, but not being the outdoors adventurer I thought i'd check what was around for me to go to. I called an Uber and made my way to a place that sounded right up my alley. Outdoor fun indoors!

Aloha Surfhouse
If you're like me and would love to learn to Surf without the marine life biting and stinging you, then Aloha Surf is the place for you. Located in the Business Park in Joondalup, they offer Surfing, Clothing, Yoga and Climbing and cater for all skill levels, with various waves on offer. And for those munchies after a hard workout, there is also a cafe with burgers on offer!
Not interested in participating, but would like to check out the facilities, it's free to enter and watch and is fully enclosed so you "shouldn't" get wet, but if you would like to get involved, the cost does include board and helmet hire and for those who would like to surf and climb, there's also that option. Check out the options here http://www.alohasurfhouse.com.au/surf/book/
